Proto continually builds
a team with passion as well as experience in museum exhibitry.
Most members have a formal education and more than fifteen
years of experience.
The Project Director is responsible for
the oversight of all operations in our projects. His talents
in organization, administration, value-added engineering,
and knowledge of production techniques enable Proto to
fabricate exhibits, signage, and interactives of the highest
quality.
The Director of Operations is responsible for the business
side of operations, including marketing, contractual compliance,
administration, and general operational issues.
Office Manager researches new
products, creates request for quotes, purchase orders, vendor setup and payables.
Travel and freight arrangements for exhibits are arranged.
Project Managers
work closely with the client's team and other members of the management team
in the planning, coordinating, and controlling of museum fabrication projects
from inception to completion.
Exhibit Specialists work under the guidance
of the Project Managers. They are specialists
in differing areas, including prototyping, interactive
development, electronics, lighting and graphics.
Production Manager is responsible
for setting up the projects, selecting the fabrication team, procuring materials,
and overseeing the fabrication process.
Finishing and Graphics Supervisor
is responsible for mock-ups, samples and graphic production.
Proto employs
numerous skilled craftsmen, each with a minimum of ten years
experience, who are trusted for quality custom fabrication
of exhibit components.
